You know what really “grinds my gears” with the mountain resorts. Why are all the terrains parks right under chairlifts? If you’re already amazing at freestyle, then being underneath the chairlift is great. Everyone can watch you and your amazing skills. The problem is, for the rest of us who are just learning, we tend to look like fools in front of those floating above us. That is not even including those who have decided to just sit there and watch. To solve this problem we have BackYard BoxRails; A New Hampshire company that will save you from embarrassment.
BackYard BoxRails’ claim to fame is that they supply you with the plans to properly build your choice of rail. Sure I could get some materials together and make a so called Box Rail, but I have enough problems worrying about whether or not I can go switch on the rail, let alone worrying about whether not I am going to end up in a pile wood with nails and screws sticking out.
To go with the plans you are also supplied the plastic material that covers the top of your box rail.
For those of us who are not very good at building things (that would be me), you have the option of letting them build it for you. All you have to do is drive to them and pick it up.
Whatever you prefer, BackYard BoxRails is the key to getting good at freestyle. All you need is a slight incline and you are good to go. Having your own set of rails in your backyard saves you from having to pay for gas, a ski ticket, and also saves your dignity.
